This is 100% a family oriented hotel. The rooms are big for DC. But this is still an east coast hotel. Breakfast is solid for a "included breakfast". Some version of eggs and breakfast meat each day with pastries, bagels, toast, fruit, etc. You have a full kitchen, so it is perfect if you are getting/bringing in your own food. You have a way of keeping stuff cold and reheating as needed. There are even dishes and a dishwasher! We stayed for 6 nights and the separate pullout bed and TV area was a life saver. This is located very near the 52 and 54 bus lines. The 52 can take you right to and from the national mall. Be prepared with cash for your fair. They don't take credit cards. You can also buy and fund a metro card at the Mcpherson Square subway station 3 blocks away, and use it for metro or bus. I REALLY recommend familiarizing yourself with both systems and downloading the metro app before trying to use either. Uber is affordable, but much more expensive than metro. We took Uber from the airport to the hotel for $40 (we needed an Uber XL to fit the 4 of us) and returned to the airport on metro during peak hours for $2.75 a person.

This place was perfect for my stay in DC. I walked most of the time I was in town and the hotel location was great. It was .8 mile to the White House, a mile to the Washington Monument. A convenience store and CVS were a couple of blocks away. A subway station was 3 blocks away. The room was large with frig, microwave, stove, and sink. The bed and pillows were super comfortable-I slept well. Breakfast was above average with a variety of eggs, meat, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, etc. Food was plentiful and well stocked. Your room key is required to use the elevators-a nice safety feature. Staff was helpful and friendly. Price was more than fair for a stay in DC. Overall just a great experience. I'll definitely stay again if I return.

The Suite was great for our family: the mini kitchen area with fridge, dishes, table, microwave and sink to eat some meals in our room, and the living room with sofa bed was nice for siblings to spread out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. After a couple days, we realized there were a ton of fun places to eat just north of the hotel. Special shout out to the wonderful staff lady who worked the breakfast area- she was so great and helpful! We also really liked the ice water dispenser with fresh fruit in the lobby- after a long day that was really refreshing.

The hotel was wonderful, a mini apartment where everything is there: a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a huge bed, very comfortable and pillows too, air conditioning, the room has everything from an iron to a hairdryer, as well as a small living room with a kitchen, where there is also everything you need: refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, coffee machines. The room exceeded all our expectations!! The breakfast was excellent, everything you need, you won't leave hungry. There is also a small gym and a laundry room.Everything functioned great. It was 4 days of Luxus.

Wonderful breakfast bar each morning with a huge variety of items to choose from. Fantastic service by the women who staff the breakfast area. I appreciated the scrambled eggs each morning, fresh fruit, yogurt and good coffee. Was surprised at the other items from pastries and breaks to cereals. Our room was comfortable with a great bed, nice bathroom, roomy living/kitchenette. The proximity of the hotel to the Metro and its walkability to the White House and to good restaurants was excellent.
